Where Are Group Classes Held?
Dream Dogz Training Center

At our spacious 2700 sq ft air-conditioned training center, you will be assigned a station. Each station is set with a comfortable dog bed, cot or crate for your dog and a seat for you. You will appreciate the complimentary refreshments available, and each student will receive a clicker, treat holder, and sample of treats. You will also be able to join us for Doga and Around Town, at no charge.
For your convenience, we have leashes, martingale collars, easy-walk harnesses, and treats available for purchase.
We are North Central Florida's Premier Training Center.

Your Dog Can Earn A Degree At Dream Dogz U!
Dream Dogz University courses are $120 for the 5-week group courses (75 minutes per class). Course fee includes: training book, clicker, treat pouch, sample of treats, and ongoing support via email or telephone:
Associate Level
Pass one course to earn an Associate's Degree

Basic Manners
Starting Sunday, February 12th @ 1:30 pm
For dogs of any age, if your dog is just beginning training

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
Starting Sunday, February 12th @ 1:30 pm

Starting Tuesday, February 14th @ 7 pm - CLICKER CLASS
Our basic class, specifically for all puppies under one year old

Totally Pit Bull
Starting Thursday, February 16th @ 6 pm
Our basic class, specifically for pit bulls & pit bull mixes,
taught with Michelle Dunlap of Phoenix Animal Rescue

Toy Dogs
Starting Tuesday, February 14th @ 7 pm - CLICKER CLASS
(combined with AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy)
Our basic class, specifically for small dogs (under 20 pounds)

Bachelor Level
Pass course and CGC test to earn a Bachelor's Degree

AKC Canine Good Citizen Prep
Starting Sunday, February 12th @ 3 pm
For dogs who have had previous group or private training,
to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test

Upper Level
Have CGC, pass two courses, plus one Doga or Around Town to earn a Master's Degree
Have CGC, pass four courses, plus one Doga and one Around Town to earn a PhDog!

FUNgility
Starting in March
For dogs who have had previous group or private training,
combine fun + agility and run a short course

AKC Rally
Starting Thursday, February 16th @ 7:30 pm
For dogs who have had previous group or private training,
learn the Novice level signs and do a full course, February class taught by Emily Cassell

Trickz
Starting in April/May
For dogs who have had previous group or private training,
your trickster will learn 20+ tricks during this course (requirement for The Dream Team)

Focus
Starting in March
For dogs who need help with focus, control, and working reliably around other dogs.

Private courses:
Dream Dogz private courses are 3-sessions long, and count towards your Master's and PhDog. Course fee includes: training book, ongoing support via email or telephone:
Nose Work
Develop your dog's natural scenting abilities and exercise your dog's mind
Nose Work is $80 for the 3-sessions (30 minutes per class).
This course is for any dog

Freedom
Learn how to use the e-collar to communicate with your dog
Freedom is $165 for the 3-sessions (60 minutes per class). You will receive a $25 discount when you order a Dogtra e-collar from Victoria.
This course is for any dog

Treadmill Training
Learn how to exercise your dog on the treadmill, taught by Emily Cassell
Treadmill Training is $150 for the 6-sessions (30-45 minutes per class).
This course is for any dog

Around Town
Drop-in sessions at Dream Dogz Training Center or dog-friendly locations around Gainesville
This class is FREE for all current and former Dream Dogz clients

Doga
Doga, massage & stretching for you and your dog
This class is $10 per session, and FREE for all current Dream Dogz clients

We would love to meet you and your dog, and help you choose the right class!
Call Victoria to set up a time to come in, or to talk about your dog.

Taken a class elsewhere?
We accept transfer students! If you'd like to take a class or two, that's great! You don't have to work towards your degree.

What If I Miss A Class?
You can schedule a make-up session for only $20 for around 20 minutes, or you may be able to come to another class.

What Training Tools Do You Use?
We do not limit ourselves to one particular training tool. We recognize that each dog is an individual and what works well with one dog may not work for another. We customize training tools to match your dog's needs. Using a wide variety of collars, harnesses, and leads ensures your dog always get the right training for the right behavior.
No matter what training tools we use, our method is always positive! We always reward dogs for choosing the correct behavior!

For Totally Pit Bull, martingale collars are required.
For Freedom, we introduce and use e-collars. After Freedom, you can continue to use e-collars in most of our other classes.
